Be interesting to see if someone has owned a car longer than someone on the forum has been alive for.

My MX5 is going to someone who is younger than the car is. He’s 23, which makes him a few years older than the Evo forum.

I've had my metro GTi very nearly 18 years, don't think we've got anyone quite that young on here at the moment.

I have a rucksack older than Mito (probably) but never kept a car longer than about 3 years as far as I can remember.

So far we're mostly the same age.

Sadly no.

Also disappointing is that nobody has created a rival “How much of a bastard are you?” Thread

A former colleague of mine has owned his Elan since the mid seventies. It’s been in constant use and recently got a refresh so it could be used for his daughter’s wedding. Respect !

My mate has a couple of Bentleys, one made in 1927 and another in 1928, that his Great-grandfather bought new. The great thing is, though, that he still uses one day to day and has let me drive it around Popham (and then we went shooting with the rifle that fits down the driver’s side! 😎 ).

He asked if my son could drive, but I said no, otherwise he’d have let him drive it too! Lovely bloke.
Cheers,

Ian
