Be interesting to see if someone has owned a car longer than someone on the forum has been alive for.
Mustang GT 5.0 V8 -- Jaguar F-Pace

My MX5 is going to someone who is younger than the car is. He’s 23, which makes him a few years older than the Evo forum.

Re: How much of an old bastard are you?
I've had my metro GTi very nearly 18 years, don't think we've got anyone quite that young on here at the moment.
Cheers, Harry

Re: How much of an old bastard are you?
I have a rucksack older than Mito (probably) but never kept a car longer than about 3 years as far as I can remember.
Re: How much of an old bastard are you?
So far we're mostly the same age.

Sadly no.
Also disappointing is that nobody has created a rival “How much of a bastard are you?” Thread

A former colleague of mine has owned his Elan since the mid seventies. It’s been in constant use and recently got a refresh so it could be used for his daughter’s wedding. Respect !Orange Cola wrote: Mon May 27, 2019 3:11 pm Be interesting to see if someone has owned a car longer than someone on the forum has been alive for.

My mate has a couple of Bentleys, one made in 1927 and another in 1928, that his Great-grandfather bought new. The great thing is, though, that he still uses one day to day and has let me drive it around Popham (and then we went shooting with the rifle that fits down the driver’s side!scotta wrote: Mon May 27, 2019 11:27 pmMy friend Barry has owned his Europa since 1974.Sundayjumper wrote: Mon May 27, 2019 10:48 pmA former colleague of mine has owned his Elan since the mid seventies. He asked if my son could drive, but I said no, otherwise he’d have let him drive it too! Lovely bloke.
