New RWD car

Post by Gavin »

It will be bye bye to my Saab in the next few weeks as our new family "bus" is not even Swedish!

As is now OV9 custom I think I have to give vague clues for at least a page?

RWD 2.0 petrol & LPG auto 8 seats, pop up top. 8-) All ready for the family to go adventuring around Scotland.

No, me neither. It has carbon wrap on the bonnet which I wouldn't have done but I will probably just live with it.

The facelift is only slightly updated from the original but it looks far more modern. Given the toys and spec it is a fraction of a VW bus too which is nice. Also nice that it has not got either the wheezy 2.5 derv lump most come with.

Enjoy. But find out about extra security. They are interesting to the light fingered fraternity.

Yeah, the old fashioned crook locks seem to be handy. I will likely fit an immobiliser as well. Where I live has pretty much no car crime but I guess we will be travelling around so makes sense!

Last time I fitted an alarm I think it was a piranha remote alarm on my AX GT back in about 1995. I think it cost £320 professionally installed.
