Cheap LED torches are lovely things to buy. I’m at about 20 of various types, glow in the dark magnetic ones, small key-ring ones, each car has an orange emergency one. It’s like a drug problem and you aren’t helping.

The garage even has a torch drawer.

It’s essential that on late night dog walks you are able to light up a tree 100 metres away.

Off to Amazon to have a look......

I think the advance in LED lighting technology is one of the best things to come out of the last 20 years, and I'm not joking. As a kid then teenager, I remember trying every trick going to coax more light out of torches, bike lights, then car headlights, spotlights etc. Tech just wasn't there, it just soaked up power. LEDs are TEH AWSUM. I'm actually looking forward to a time - not too far away at a guess - when I can junk the silly HID lights I have in everything and use LED bulbs instead.

Just don’t go telling you mates that you have a 20,000 lumen torch

It’s probably 500 at best.

  A good quality LED highbay/lowbay fitting from someone like Thorn lighting is getting 20,000 lumens at 134w. I cant see how this torch could do that.
