Shame they used the worst possible example photo for the Torq Thrust wheel.

Of course, they missed the TE37 so the whole thing is void.

Was the TE37 ever fitted as standard to anything?

Some poor choices there, though. The MX5 daisy alloys aren't even the nicest factory-fit MX5 wheels, for instance  And 205 GTI 1.6 wheels were nowhere near as pretty as the 1.9's. And... the Golf GTI Pirelli alloys?!

R35 GTR SpecV has them. I don’t think any car had Torq Thrusts fitted as standard, so I’m not sure that was the criteria (I didn’t bother to read the blurb)

Didn't some sort of 350Z have them too? I think they've been on a few special edition type things over the years. Can't really say I'm that moved by them personally, Advan RG-D's are much nicer if you want a 6 spoke wheel, but too esoteric for that list.

and where were the TSW Venoms?

I honestly had to Google those, didn't realise that's what they were called. I'm more of an Antera 109 man myself when it comes to three spokes 8-)

Where's the Ronal Turbos too? Load of pish.

Always like the Williams Clio alloys actually.

Some nonsense in that Williams text as well:

"Made by Speedline in Italy for Renault, the Williams’ rims were 7.0in wide to sit half an inch broader than the contemporary Clio 16v's and this necessitated the car’s trademark bulging wheel arches."

The Williams had the same bodywork as the 16v. So the half inch wider wheels necessitated nowt (they also ran the same tyre size as the 16v)

I think modern alloy wheel design is one of the few things which looks better than ever now but I prefer big wheels and low profile tyres for looks. Anything by HRE is pretty amazing and I love how they redo classic designs.
How about not having a sig at all?

Love the Saab 8-)

I’m with Andy regarding TE37, I’m not that fussed about them. BBS E88 / LM however...... 😎😎
