LeMans Museum photos

So I was lucky enough to get a few hours free from work while in LeMans this afternoon. The museum was brilliant, Google telling me it was open until 7pm less so but the kind staff let me wander around drooling at the displays until twenty minutes after they were supposed to lock up.

Full Gallery here as I'm on the road I'll beg forgiveness for the dodgy white balance and sundry other photographic faults.

The temporary exhibition is Porsche 1948-2018 and is on until January 2019.

My highlights.
I started to get a bit fetishy photographing intercoolers/radiators/heat exchangers. Peeking out from the bodywork they were all a bit of a tease..

That turbo pic is excellent. As if the turbo isn't cool enough (just a small elbow on exit with no other exhaust at all), there's actually an arrow pointing to it just to highlight it!

Looks properly ace. Would be a nice, closer alternative to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart but not sure I'll get chance to go before Jan.

My brother’s getting married in Italy next year and was planning on driving down so might be able to roll it into that.
