The veloce takes it up to 280bhp but you would always know that you should have got the quadrifoglio.

A bloke at work has a Veloce. Red with tan leather. It's lovely and not slow. Given that the last Alfa he had (a 159) closed the M60 for 4 hours by spontaneously combusting, I think he's very brave.

Is the Aldo a new shoe-shaped version?

I don't think I'd have a problem with the power, the normal Guilias look a bit doughy to me though.

I was very close to buying a Veloce and going back to one car, but they're still in the dangerous depreciation age. Hopefully in a few years time the Quadrifoglioioio will be more in my price range.

That being said, a Quad out of warranty, with Alfa costs? Hmm.

That encompasses all Alfa Romeos until they reach £500 (or become classics) right?

They've lost 33% in a year so I'm expecting them to be down to 20k in 2020. I'm also expecting running costs to be eye watering.

Nonsense, a highly tuned Alfa with carbon bits? I'm sure it'll be super reasonable to repair. Warranty schmarranty.

I always think of Ducatis as lovely bikes for other people to own.

It's similar for Alfas, except I think of them as distinctly average cars - for other people to own 👍🏼

My mate showed up for a coffee last week on a red Ducati Supersport S. It looked lovely, but I’m obviously a tart for red Italian shizzle. 😍

The Alfa will probably be the first car with carbonfibre/aluminium parts that suffer from rust. 😂

It's because you're not a true petrolhead. These are facts.

Alfa have been "not as good as we hoped" since... the 1950s? I think we need to lower our collective expectations.

I'd disagree. Alfa need to raise their game to try and meet people's expectations. Undoubtedly a good drive but everything else is sadly lacking against Audi, BMW & Mercedes.

Are quadrafanglios depreciating wildly or still too new?

They seem to be distressingly expensive, still.

 No, it's all nonsense. I do believe you either "get" them or you don't, though.

Dropping to low 40's now. Dealers are giving really shitty p/x values (according to PH), and many seem to hang around. I think they do have a 5 year warranty now? So that may help residuals, as I expect otherwise they'd drop off a cliff once the warranty is up.
