Haven't had anything that corners like this since the MK1 Golf trackcar!
I'm up for it.McSwede wrote: Sat Oct 06, 2018 9:21 pm Tip top! That looks great.
An Autumn blast across the Moors maybe in order if anyone fancies it?
Of the car or the meet McSwede is proposing?
Exactly. I didn't like this CTR when it came out but it grew on me and now there's the new ugly one the previous versions just looks so good.Mito Man wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 11:27 am Amazing how restrained and nice it looks now compared to the violently ugly new Civic.
That's lovely, which is more than anyone can say about the latest version.Zonda_ wrote: Sat Oct 06, 2018 8:17 pm

We had a Civic of this generation (2.2 CDTI) and the key thing I remember about it was how wide it seemed. I’d say it’s a very generous 5 seater. Does the Type R have a different rear bench that stops you using the 5th seat?drcarlos wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 10:23 am I like these and if they’d had 5 seats I doubt I’d be driving a scooby now.

Absolutely. I still can't quite believe just how ugly the new one is! Very un-Honda to produce something so crass.PaulJ wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 12:02 pmThat's lovely, which is more than anyone can say about the latest version.
And the new one is huge in comparison, although this does feel tiny coming from the 4 Series.
Only 2 seatbelts in the back.NotoriousREV wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 12:37 pmWe had a Civic of this generation (2.2 CDTI) and the key thing I remember about it was how wide it seemed. Really? How dumb. We had a baby seat, a booster cushion and regularly had an adult sit comfortably between the two when we had ours. Don’t know why they’d remove the belt for the Type R. Can one not be retrofitted?Zonda_ wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 1:26 pmOnly 2 seatbelts in the back.NotoriousREV wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 12:37 pmWe had a Civic of this generation (2.2 CDTI) and the key thing I remember about it was how wide it seemed. I imagine the mounting points will be there but the rear bench does look as though it's designed for 2 people, the middle section is raised so wouldn't be very comfortable to sit on.NotoriousREV wrote: Sun Oct 07, 2018 1:42 pmReally?
