Genuine email advice needed
Genuine email advice needed
Morning all.
Bit of a shocker this morning. In March this year, we changed from Virgin residential to Virgin business for reasons too boring to mention here, only to find today that our email address that was with virgin res is no longer supported by virgin bus, so we will no longer get emails through. Bizarrely, Virgin bus do not offer an email at all & their solution is to change my email address to a hotmail or gmail account.
Obviously, I'm a bit staggered by this & am trying to get out of the contract as this was never mentioned when we took it out. Fairly sure I wouldn't have signed up if they'd said, "oh, your current email address isn't supported or transferable, so in 6 months, without warning, you'll lose your ability to email anyone"
So, at the moment I'm a bit stuck & need genuine advice. What do I do next? Hotmail is shonky, not sure about gmail, but what I'd really like is something like info or sales@steelesigns & be able to log into somewhere remotely & link it to my current outlook account.
Totally out of my depth here, so all advice welcome.

That sucks mate... best of luck with the complaint against Virgin.
I'm pretty sure what you're looking for ("sales@steelesigns" etc) is easy enough if you know what your doing - one for Beany maybe ??

Re: Genuine email advice needed
This. As in, ping Tim.
I know the setup required to set up domains/email etc but I've not got time to help, waaaay too busy.
Re: Genuine email advice needed
Send your reply to Gwaredd's evomail.co.uk address, Tim.
Re: Genuine email advice needed
Whatever you do choose make sure there's no limit on received email size as that is one other problem you don't need. People regularly send me 50 mb files on email........ seems they don't know any other better way.
