Today's Want
Re: Today's Want
The suspension appears to have collapsed... best budget for a replacement.
Re: Today's Want
I like that very much...
I wonder if I could swap one slightly off-white, auto Merc (our current car) for that one without my wife noticing?
Re: Today's Want
Just remember guys - its not for the purests.
Re: Today's Want
I don't even read the descriptions on car ads such as these (posted up for amusement rather than any intent to buy) as they all seem to have been written by people with learning difficulties.
Re: Today's Want
Lovely spec. It's a really well finished car in the metal too.

Re: Today's Want
I've got a boner for an S1 Elise again, so that'll probably happen.
I really like this, but don't like the price or the colour. Or rather I do like the colour, but I wouldn't have another silver one. New Aluminium shows the S1's lines off better than any other colour, but I want a lairy coloured one next.

The above is beautiful and obviously collectible. Would in many ways feel disappointing compared to my previous silver one and would be hugely slower too. I loved the VHPD in the Superlight though, although that had 200kg less to drag about. I think my destiny lies in an S1 Elise project, painted a lairy colour with a big-power K20 in the back. Essentially a re-run of the last one but with lessons learned from the previous one and the dial turned up to 11.

Make it the coupe and I'll need a moment to sit down. That looks spectacular too, wouldn't turn down the keys.ZedLeg wrote: Tue Sep 04, 2018 11:32 amLove that, there aren't many things I like more than an old saloon dropped on airbags.

I do like it, but not sure that I £42k like it. Others feel similar it seems, it's been sitting for ages! I'd rather take 2x Sport 160's.ste wrote: Tue Sep 04, 2018 11:16 am I've got a boner for an S1 Elise again, so that'll probably happen.

Re: Today's Want
Except you might not anymore, they’re minimum £25k now it seems. Plenty £30k+
Re: Today's Want
Your yellow one, when the guy you sold it to sold it on, was a stupid bargain.
I got £30k for my silver one.

Another old saloon on airbags, I saw this on Facebook. I’d have different wheels but otherwise it’s perfect.
