Have I been duped ? Is this going to be a thread where someone asks about leasing a new car then decides it's cheaper to buy a used one 😂

Nah, cards on the table, I’m considering selling the M3 and leasing for a few years because basically I need to free up some more cash short term for my house refurb.

I don’t really want to, but if an amazing deal came up on something I would definitely consider it.

It's how i ended up with a leased Yeti in 2013😂

My 996 went towards an extension that's taken me 5yrs to finish and pay for.

And me with my first Saab, had to sell it and lease a Yeti as I had a Chinese takeaway for the family to pay for! :(

I’m not getting a Yeti!

Running costs don’t bother me (using the M3 daily has been absolutely fine), it’s just a cash injection potentially needed and the M3 is sat there all paid for. But I definitely don’t want to get a slow car.

I went full emasculation for the team, sold car bought for "CASH" (All paid for RichB TM) and leased the definition of competent, for 4 yrs.

Worth it now though but there were some dark days.

Ahh, the old "leasing a new car to save money" chestnut :D

Would it not be better to just get a loan / mortgage for the house stuff and keep the M3 ?
