Our neighbour has had sparrows nesting under his badly finished flashing for a few years. I did mention it to him, thinking he would sort thr flashing. At the time it was just constant cheeping for a week or two, which was mildly irritating.
THey have now started pecking the mirrors and also the side windows, and when I got the Audi (ceramic coated) it had a few goes at he dorr and manged to get down to white undercoat, tiny wee bits, but bloody annoying.
I am hoping this is only for a couple of weeks whilst they have unfledged young...
I looked online and it said CDs and reflective tape etc, but no clue how or where to site them to not bash off the cars.
I bought a cheap ultrasonic scarer thing and popped it out this morning but it appears to be doing heehaw.
Any suggestions from the brain trust?
Sparrows attacking car mirrors
Re: Sparrows attacking car mirrors
I have hung CDs to reflect on either side if the two cars. Seems to be working a bit at least. Fingers corssed as I am having to wash the windows every evening to get rid of the poop and marks.
