That manual transmission window sticker is tragic... and that comes from someone with Weltmeister and Goodwood stickers in the side window of mine.

It's for americans, as to americans using a stick shift makes you real man, a real driver, it's your bona fide as a car guy.

They really don't like it when you tell them your seventy year old granny would rev-match downshifts in her manual Rover Metro on the way to the shops. No, she wasn't some rebel, she was just an old wifey...

But otherwise how will people know I'm a manualista and not one of the autopesants?

Probably a good idea to make it manual only this time. The Gentian Blue pack which makes the wheels and stickers blue is a bit much on anything but a white car.

But the previous generations of T have been cheaper than the basic Carrera and this is more expensive. Wonder if they’ll find them hard to sell as they seemed to with the 992.1 Carrera T?

I think the “T” name will always be associated with the Cybertruck towing stunt for nerds like me online. Every investigation into the facts were always quick to point out that the example 911 chosen was “the T - the slowest accelerating 911.

The one proven to be inaccurate? :?

I thought only Ma Twatson and his mates were entirely unimpressed with a 4.3s 0-60 time? :(

yep - that’s why i called it a stunt. It’s clearly all engineered bullshit, but one of the factors they called them out on, was they chose the “slowest 911 by some margin”….

this screen shot is from the video you just posted…

who wants to spend £110k on a car that is the slow one?

People who don’t think sub 5 to 60 and 180mph is that slow and don’t want to spend £200k on a faster one?

Better get the PDK then - the 992 Carrera T was lighter than the Carrera and only the manual version was slowest; the PDK version is slightly quicker than the base Carrera.

As much as I think that my one lottery new car purchase would be a 911 turbo, A Carrera T is probably all you need for a daily driven sports car.

There's a lot of love from the T from owners on forums. They are no doubt enthusiasts and sold on the simpler=better philosophy.

I still want the extra power of an S and more options. RWS is something I didn't care about until I tried it, but it makes a really noticeable difference to how nimble the car feels for instance - and is standard on the new T.

RWS continues to be one of those features I didn't know I needed but would now hate to be without.

I've only just spotted that the nice simple, light weight 992.2 Carrera T is available as a Cabrio. Oh dear.

It is, but the one Elon used was a 992.1 available with PDK. The 992.2 T is quicker.
