Lifelong Maiden fan here and I suppose like a lot of us, I wasn't a fan of his voice but he did sing on some classics on those 2 albums that still feature in the Set List today ...

RIP - I liked his voice on the first 2 albums.
His voice at the end wasn't great though. Look for recent footage of him on YouTube - he sounds like Vic Reeve's Pub Singer.
