Directly below where Mallory was found so a fall got the pair of them. He's lower down the mountain so presumably an easier location to search.

Not that I think finding the camera will solve anything as if, and it's a bit if, they made the summit, it would have been dark. But finding it would be cool as Kodak reckon it's still processable, given how dry the area is.

There’s all sorts of rumours, legends and half truths about them, mainly centred around the Chinese.

Mallory is no longer where he was found and the are lots of stories that Irvine was found higher and literally thrown off the mountain. Lots of the stories surround the Beijing Olympics where they carried the torch to the summit.

But like a lot of things in China, we’ll never know

All boils down to “Did the Chinese summit in 1960” - the second summit and first from the north which is officially accepted but still carries a lot of doubt
