I never understood why bidets went out of favour in the UK.

I fitted one in the bathroom in my last house when I redid the whole bathroom. Very useful IMO. They should be more wide spread.

So for anyone with proper sized hands it's like trying to wipe your arse with a stamp. They have it at one of the rentals we regularly stay at over here, and I end up using 3 pieces folded to 1.5lengths where I'd normally use just 2 pieces. SO the whole spiel about getting more paper on a roll become somewhat irrelevant as you have to use more to do the same job.
