Re: New Capri
That looks horrendous... Trying to go after the X4 / X6 / GLC / GLE Coupe SUV things? Can't imagine buyers of those cars would swap to a Ford.

Re: New Capri
I assume it’s aimed at people that like the X4 / X6 / GLC / GLE Coupe SUV things but can only afford a Ford.
Re: New Capri
Maybe trying to relive the success of the s-max which tempted a lot of people into a ford by being a decent looking 7 seater, so much so they had to introduce the titanium and titanium x trim levels to accommodate people used to having a car with everythingBrannen wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 8:06 am That looks horrendous... Also the way car prices and mortgage prices are going soon some of those buyers will be lucky to afford a duster if they want to buy new

That. The concept is fundamentally flawed.
Re: New Capri
They'll have to do a Ghia for this (if only for the UK market).jamcg wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 9:12 am the s-max tempted a lot of people into a ford so they had to introduce the titanium and titanium x trim levels to accommodate people used to having a car with everything
As Cougar went to Kuga, will this end up as Kupree?
Re: New Capri
How can you tell what it looks like from heavily disguised pictures?
FWIW I think the Mustang ev thing looks great irl.

Re: New Capri
Not if it's an EV SUV where aero matters. There's a reason they all have a very similar side profile.
How about not having a sig at all?

Re: New Capri
yep, massive frontal area and lifted suspension with big wheels is always good for aero.
Re: New Capri
So it only makes some sense to gain back a little range with a sloped rear then.Rich B wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 12:51 pmyep, massive frontal area and lifted suspension with big wheels is always good for aero.

Re: New Capri
they jacked it up to make it more practical though. If practicality matters, then make it practical. If aero and MPG matters, lower it back down.Mito Man wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 12:55 pmSo it only makes some sense to gain back a little range with a sloped rear then.
In reality, it's just a fashion decision (and a daft one at that).
