Just found this on my laptop when I was hunting for something else - I appear to have used Word to prepare the 2016FECPOTY post before putting it up. Sadly lost with the deletion of the evo forum - like tears in rain.

HaHa classic. Simpler times. When I first saw it I was thinking "I only bought the 7 in 2016? I thought I had that car ages ago". I had to recalibrate that actually 2016 was quite a long time ago... my head still kind of thinks it's 2020.

I'm pretty sure it was. I was in the list for the year it happened, and the only car I bought before that M3 was the previous M3 back in 2011.

Yeah, that Audi did a great job, before being uneconomical to repair so I cut my losses. My last car with > 4 cylinders

The c63 was without doubt the best sounding car I have owned. I still lower my window if I spot one close by.

IIRC the S2 was only suitable for people who couldn't see their own dick lol
