Just found this on my laptop when I was hunting for something else - I appear to have used Word to prepare the 2016FECPOTY post before putting it up. Sadly lost with the deletion of the evo forum - like tears in rain.

And interestingly, this is the first year I’ve been in it myself. Which shouldn’t affect your votes of course. These are not the droids you’re looking for.

HaHa classic. Simpler times. When I first saw it I was thinking "I only bought the 7 in 2016? I thought I had that car ages ago". I had to recalibrate that actually 2016 was quite a long time ago... my head still kind of thinks it's 2020.

I'm pretty sure it was. I was in the list for the year it happened, and the only car I bought before that M3 was the previous M3 back in 2011.

There was some debate a few weeks earlier about OEM S2 Elise suspension being an upgrade from OEM S1 Elise suspension, which Ste vociferously refuted. May have spilled over from Seloc. Memory Hazy.

IIRC the S2 was only suitable for people who couldn't see their own dick lol
