My poor wife and I have been married 21 years today! Just goes to show, my cunning plan of proposing the 3rd time we met (before she realised what a dick I was) worked.

Happy anniversary! We're coming up on 20 years since we met, and not long after our thirteenth wedding anniversary.

No one even expects us to get married or have kids, we're the black sheep of our respective families

Yes, the third date rule is about sleeping together, not putting a ring on it
It'll be 5 years for us in May. I remember the third time we met... I didn't propose. But I did after about 3 weeks. Thought I was moving quickly!

I tell them to mind their own fking business
Those women things are expensive, I'd probably have to sell a bike or something..

We got engaged 2.5 years after getting together and I thought that was moving quickly!
There are a lot of hopeless romantics on this forum.

Been together 3 years, both been married before. Neither of us in any rush to even talk about it. Not least because we’ve both been on the wrong end of a divorce financially. Personally, I think making it official kills the fun a bit too.
