Speaking of blooming long time

Post by Gavin »

My poor wife and I have been married 21 years today! Just goes to show, my cunning plan of proposing the 3rd time we met (before she realised what a dick I was) worked.

Happy anniversary! We're coming up on 20 years since we met, and not long after our thirteenth wedding anniversary.

Congrats!

Been happily married for 3 years (second time around), been together just over 7.

Yes, the third date rule is about sleeping together, not putting a ring on it

It'll be 5 years for us in May. I remember the third time we met... I didn't propose. But I did after about 3 weeks. Thought I was moving quickly!

We got engaged 2.5 years after getting together and I thought that was moving quickly!

There are a lot of hopeless romantics on this forum.

Been together 3 years, both been married before. Neither of us in any rush to even talk about it. Not least because we’ve both been on the wrong end of a divorce financially. Personally, I think making it official kills the fun a bit too.
