So mrs mik and I went out for a "Valentine's dinner" last night to our favourite Italian place. And as I tucked into their simply fabulous olives at the start of the meal, I was reminded of you horrible lot . We didn't do a poll at the time - correcting that wrong.

I like Olive Tapenade, but not actual Olives.

I did not include this option. This mistake is all mine. I can only hope that The Lord God Almighty is lenient

Also they're not stuffed, the sliced peppers are simply mixed into the brine.

Anything stuffed and cold can get in the sea.

Whilst this is true (and a bowl of unpitted olives at a work-related meal is not a joyous thing to watch being consumed) they do taste better to me. Along the lines of tomatoes on the vine, chicken cooked on the bone etc etc.

Why is there no "all of the olives" option?

Reminds me of a friend I used to have who had a disgusting habit of not not eating pickled mussels/cockles from the jar, but would then drink the brine
