Mental hill climb onboard

Post by Jimmy Choo »

Nicked from Richard Brunning's Twatter feed. It's St. Ursanne - Les Rangiers hillclimb in Switzerland and is utterly, utterly insane.

"I could do that in a van" (the old Sabine Schmitz clip popped into my head for some reason).

That's equal parts awesome and terrifying! Love the sound...

Impressive!

My first thought though was that'd be a good ride on the bike. I've got a thing for riding up hills, my friends think I'm a bit strange

Using every cm of the available road - very impressive accuracy 8-)

Sitting on the limiter in top for a while too, so potential to be even quicker....

Driver is fellow countryman David Hauser, his family have been doing this forever. Remember watching his dad Christian on the hillclimbs of Luxembourg in his F3000 8-)

They ought to put that in GT7. It would rock to have a few hillclimbs in there. Pikes Peak too.

I suspect you'd be sweating bullets just trying that on a SIM let alone real life. Awesome stuff.
