Well, they should be calling it the Allroad, but hey - Dakar it is. Cool name I think.

I'd very much like one. I wonder if it'll be offered with a long-range fuel tank? 120l or so would be perfect so I don't need to fill it with petrol every other day.

While I liked the Rothmans livery on the 959, I think using it with 'Roughroads' looks bloody awful on the Dakar. Still cool as fuck, even though I don't like the alloy wheel design either.

Is this confirmed? I have seen one article that suggested the Dakar would not have the portal axles of the cars they used to climb the Chile volcano?

Yeah, not keen. It might actually have some rough terrain capabilities, but it’s all a bit rover streetwise. Wheels look like they’re off an early 2000s Audi.

Needs to be a bit more rally. And copying the old livery doesn’t work if you have to change the main sponsors name.

I'm guessing they didn't want to use Rothmans because cigarettes but it would've been better if they'd just done the paintjob without the decals.
