Anne Heche

Only 53, and it looks like a pretty grizzly death. Car crash (MINI clubman) followed by fire and brain injury caused by lack of oxygen (presumably from smoke).

Media circulating around rumours of drug substances found in blood samples taken.

RIP

There is on t'internet a doorbell cam clip of the seconds before her crash. Let's put it this way.... she wasn't doing 30mph in a residential road.

Still, RIP.

Yeah.

I had to google her because I didn't recall the name, and I found the same videos. She'd already crashed into some garages and driven off, and a seemingly random photo taken of her in the car slightly earlier has what looks suspiciously like a bottle of vodka in the cup holder. Although hospital toxicology tests apparently didn't report alcohol, just cocaine & fentanyl, and the fentanyl might have been administered by the paramedics.

Basically - if she wasn't famous the internet's response would be rather less kind.

Speed she was going I doubt she’d have known anything about it.
