A bit random I know but how can they cost upto 200 quid when toast is toast? Or do I need education on the browning of bread?
What you got? Does it have a warming function and is it worthwhile?

Find one that fits the bread you usually buy, cos so many toaster manufacturers don't seem to product test before releasing their equipment

Dualit all the way
We throw to much shit like this away but i suspect the Dualit will out last me and even if it does brake it's designed to be repaired.

Which model ya got? There's only some that have the cast iron reputation isn't there?

Everything else in my kitchen is Bosch. The non-integrated stuff is brushed metal, the spashback is white glass. So I bought a brushed metal and white glass Bosch toaster.
I didn't even check what size bread it could take!

I believe it's one of these. Kids put cheese toasties, potato waffles.. anything that will fit in.

A colleague told me about them when I was moaning about our toasters dying every 3 years, she's had hers since the early 90s.
Nice thick holes as well.

Exactly. Also does popadoms really well. And many other non-toast shaped items.

3-slice Dualit. Had it about 20 years and it still makes far better toast than anything else.

Dualits do look good. A very exciting xmas present to myself. Our trusty old Bosch is down to one slot working, the cancel function gave up yonks ago and will probably burn the house down next.
