You can now buy an audiophile Ethernet switch. It’s £450. LOL.

As someone who's specified and installed £250k Home Cinemas and 40 zone distributed audio I can't imagine trying to justify this to a client.
It's not as if it's even something specific for distributed audio, like Dante switches, which are performing a distinct function to justify their prices.

I love how audiophiles somehow think that super magic buzzwords are somehow better than the literal error correction performed on Ethernet frames.

Or that high Res audio is somehow more delicate than, say, a banks finance data, which goes through regular vlans and WANs and VPNs using industry standard switching without the world collapsing.

A fool and his money, etc.

Exactly. If you're streaming something then that content has been through upteen processes on its way to you, it's not the last few metres that's fckuing it up. I'd actually love to see what's inside that compared to a £20 Netgear jobbie.

A fool and his money...
... will form a loving relationship with Russ Andrews :D

I can understand speaker cables making a difference, but Russ Andrews sells a 13 amp fuse for £25 that has rave reviews on his site. Fcuk right off.

I'd put good money on it literally being a rechassis'd TPlink unit.

Couldn't possibly be. It is uses "advanced technologies". We all know what that does for audio quality.

I love the fact that one of the reviewers has used one on a TV, and another on their Bose ‘hi-fi’

The only time I believe you’ll ever see a benefit to changing any 230v supply side components is either when there’s something fundamentally wrong with the wiring in the house, or you’re running seriously beefy amplification and speakers which can sound better when connected to a power conditioner, but it’s marginal and I only really specify them for the hardware protection that they offer.

If someone is making a living from £65 plug fuses then well done!

I have fitted a handful of these to my mains cables, and I’m loving the added richness they have created.

I'm surprised there isn't someone out there selling the benefits of the Tesla Powerwall or an equivalent. 'Isolate your supply from the dirty mains'. In fact, it sounds quite persuasive; I'm almost inclined to give it a go

I’m going to give you a 13A fuse foe Christmas. I just need to get a small enough sharpie to write “ultra” on it.

Gold plated kettle leads were a bit of a forum meme way before memes were a thing.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

You need one my my new HYPERPLUGZ. I haven’t even started marketing these yet, but I can assure you that £250 is a bargain, and that they are fully compatible (and of course specifically tuned to work in perfect harmony) with both SuperFuse and UltraFuse.
