Diego Maradona

Post by Ascender »

Yip, gone at the age of 60. Which I guess probably isn't much of a surprise given his lifestyle and recent troubles.

One of the greatest of all time, RIP. Proper legend and character.
Cheers,

Mike.

Surprised he lasted this long tbh.

Far more tragic (imo) is the news that the diminutive French RU legend Christoph Dominici died yesterday at 48. :(

I was a bit shocked when I saw that, 60 is no age. A true giant of the game.

Sad about Dominici too.

I liked the early stuff; holiday, material girl, etc.. i wasn't so keen on the later tunes.

That's a brilliant documentary although I expect it will be an even tougher watch now. When you see just how full of life he was before addiction took hold and he was also under the controlling influence of those around him its tragic.
Cheers,

Mike.
