I might own a FWD Fiesta (or insert appropriate EV here) but definitely the Mustang. I don’t intend on living a boring retirement and having seen a number of family members go slowly it’s something I’m keen to avoid putting myself and my family through. Infact, if it comes to it, backwards on fire through the pearly gates in the driving seat of a V8 Mustang might be my choice way to go out this world a couple of weeks before inevitably going out against something I can’t control like cancer.
What about you lot?
So you’re 90yrs old, what’s in the garage next to your 1.0l FWD shopping car?

If the driving freedom is roughly like it is now then a very old car. Something like an old Austin Tilly. Where I need to be awake to operate it smoothly.
I’ll probably just be walking the dog, playing with toy trains and running a stationary engine while having a nap at country fairs
Dave!

I'm actually taking great pleasure in the fact that as I've turned 40 I appear to be the only one of my car nerd friends who isn't softening. I'm quite open to a little hybrid or EV in the garage for fetching the shopping, but fuck the idea that driving kicks dies out as you get older.
So honestly, a no wing GT3 or something like an Alfaholics GTA-R.
I too, would like to go out of this world in a fiery ball of death smiling than reach 96 and have spent ten years getting familiar with dying slowly.
