Amid all this bullshit, we agree (no, she's far from ace). Perhaps why this is why the admin role exists at all, but in my wife's case her 'boss' is fucking useless and cannot apparently plan anything. Parents turn up for meetings nobody are aware of, papers go missing, the special concessions these children have all seem to be planned at the very last minute, the boss needs to be chased continuously for this, that and the other etc.ste wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2019 2:16 pm SENCO is an absolute piece of piss BTW. I had the 'pleasure' of dealing with some SENCOs to get them to understand what they needed to do. They were one of the dimmest work shy bunch of people I've ever met. My conclusion was that it wasn't the change that was the problem, it was the morons that were being asked to deliver it.
I'm sure there are exceptions of course. I bet the person your wife sharpens pencils for is ace.
My beef is you seemingly trivialising their role in school lock downs, which is utter bullshit.
