I think either DPD or a neighbour tried to steal my Goodwood tickets, although I suspect the former. I only got a picture of an envelope on a random desk last week. Knocked a few doors and nothing. Called Goodwood this morning and they assured me they've invalidated those tickets and are sending mine out tomorrow. In my mind I have an amusing image of a sorry cvnt travelling from London to Goodwood and getting rejected at the gate

I had a Royal Mail signed for 48h parcel from bmw take a week to turn up and be signed for in Nuneaton.
I can imagine things getting lost in the system or turning up late, but how does it get signed for and handed over in completely the wrong place?

The last few times I've ordered computer equipment from Amazon, it's been delivered to <Stevens> Street.
Not in Pudsey, though. In Farsley. Over a mile away. Including one time a £200 motherboard being left in a recycling bin. The day before bin day in that area....
RM are pretty fucking janky these days.

Possibly the same street name in a completely different location (?)

Not surprised given how the strikes have absolutely battered them into a £1bn loss

The strikes aren't surprising given how much the senior management are fucking with the ground level staff, etc.

Fuck you I won't do what you tell me!
More just a case of that RM has been getting utterly buttfucked by successive governments since privatisation and at some point, something had to break - either the staff or the service, at the moment it seems to currently be both.

DPD again! Utter idiots. Every year at this time I order a few hundred bare root trees. October is tree planting season. DPD dropped off the box on Friday evening at a business address on a random street 1/2 mile away. Went there today and they don't open again till Monday so that's all fucked

Yesterday was a blinder for Evri and Royal Mail. I was out all morning and had four deliveries while out.
"Secure delivery Enclosed porch"
I don't have an enclosed porch
My front door is about 1.5m from the pavement, so basically, these packages were left on my doorstep, in the open, litte more than a metre from the pavement, in a notoriously dodgy part of east London. Suffice to say, there were no packages to be found when I got home.
It makes me furious because I've now had to spend an hour complaining/calling people to explain that despite the tracking, the items have NOT been delivered.
Amazon is now the best for deliveries, as they have an option in your delivery settings which allows you to say that there are no safe places to leave packages.

I'm waiting for a royal mail delivery that they magically sent to a B25 postcode instead of BR5. They then tried to deliver twice and failed, so now I have to go collect it.

I gave the delivery a score of 0 out of 10 on Royal Mail's feedback form.
The postman has just knocked on the door and asked me "why did you give me a zero score" and then claimed I have an enclosed porch
The fucking front of it

I asked for my parcel to be delivered to the local post office, they offered today, no timeslot given. Went to collect it earlier (11am, so not exactly first thing) and it wasn't there. It "may come on the afternoon drop, come back then". What a fab service.

We've never had a problem with Evri until recently when our long serving driver packed it in, since then the service has been absolutely rubbish.
I was expecting a delivery on Monday but have had this message every day so far this week "We're sorry, we're not able to deliver your parcel today, but we will deliver it on the next working day." Still waiting
In future any companies who use Evri (if they make it obvious when ordering) won't be getting a penny off me.

Our local delivery lady is still excellent.
Following on from my post above, I went back the day after and they still didn't have it. "Maybe try the delivery office?". As that's only a short walk away I went over there. Guy looked at the slip and went out back. Came back ten minutes later with my package. When I asked why they had it his comment was "the post office doesn't always open the back door for deliveries, so we have to take them back".
Safe to say I'll be using the delivery office in future, they've always been good, whereas the post office branch is anything but.
