Yeah it was definitely an innocent joke about her being 18 and not a gross dig at someone he disagrees with idealogically.

What’s the problem with disagreeing with someone ideologically and then using a part of their character, appearance etc to make a funny comment ?

It's difficult to say for sure though as the demographics of the outerlying areas with less infection is likely to be more highly skewed to older and white folks.
