Has anyone seen anything about what was going on with leclerc at the end? All looked very odd.
Hit the wall, broken suspension arms and limped over the line
Post race penalties- max got a 5 second penalty which would move him behind Charles, except for
Charles got penalised for the last lap, specifically missing most of the corners, so he was given a drive through penalty for it, which is converted to a 20 second race time penalty. Moves him into 8th and promotes Lewis and colapinto higher up
I saw he’d got a penalty for running off the track for no reason or something, but surely a broken car is a pretty good reason. Then again, if it was that bad that he couldn’t turn the corners they’d argue he shouldn’t have been driving an unsafe car which may have been a worse penalty?

Hamilton got a penalty for the exact same thing last year I think so they’re pretty consistent on corner cutting when driving a damaged car.

Quite enjoyed the race last Sunday, first race of the year where it didn’t feel as artificial. I suspect Monaco will be the usual shit show and then a return to you overtake me no you overtake me etc
In other wholesome posts that make you feel old

Yes it was a good race but also made me wonder if the limiting factor is once again the tyres? We get a cold dreary race and the tyres don't degrade, we end up with the whole grid pushing flat out for every lap. Cars follow each other nicely lap after lap and we get proper racing. The actual power units were pretty irrelevant and no one cared about them.

They should just make indestructible tyres with mandatory pit stops to run a set number of sets. and bring back refuelling while they’re at it and bin off the hybrid
In fact just bring the old v10 stuff out of retirement

I was speculating earlier with a colleague that Monaco would be maybe improved by being a dewinged race.
