I wish we had the battery graphics all the time, really need it for context. Enjoyed the Ferrari battle but it really was the only thing going on all race. And well done Antonelli.
The oppression GPs being cancelled may be part of the papal blessing Ferrari got 😂 2 fewer races for the trick Mercedes engine and more time for the rest to catch up.

Yes, Toto said it felt like they had all 3 top positions with HAM being one, which was a nice gesture. Happy for Kimi and the cars looked a bit spikier than previous which I like.. the two Ferraris sparring was very impressive and I hope we’ll see George and Kimi doing similar in the future.

The slow down mid straight is annoying and I hope there’s some clever battery development/capacity change so they reach max speed just prior to the brake point, but take the point Duncs makes about different driving strategies at the corner offering an additional opportunity to show off their skills.

Ollie is consistently good which is exciting aswell.. I wonder where he’ll end up next season if he continues with his good form?

TL;DR this season is better than I thought it’d be
Cheers,

Northallerton said he made accidental overtakes due to the differences in energy reserves at Australia, I think the track will make a massive difference to how they can race, the wide sweeping corners in china lend themselves to side by side racing. I’m expecting monza to be a shitshow

Baku will be good, wonder how much the cars will derate by the end of the straight. They seem to be showing much fewer onboards as a solution to the clipping. Also noticed the onboard cameras must be super wide angle this year to make up for it. When Max was coming into the pit lane he looked 100 metres behind the car in front. Cut to the track side camera and he’s 2 metres behind. Just a stupid choice when it makes the wheel to wheel battles also look less impressive.

Was wondering how they did it since the teams did say they didn’t want that broadcast :?
The absurd thing is go on any onboard for any car and you can see their battery levels on the dash. So the teams can all see each others battery levels. What’s the point of hiding it from the viewers?!

Was meaning to comment on that. Bearman was doing well in the latter parts of last season, and he's continued that form. Would be good to see him in a really fast car.

What an era for British drivers!

Have you noticed the onboard speed? It goes up as the accelerate down the straight then stops and stays static ignoring them slowing, then as they hit the brakes it drops massively in an instant?

Funny how all the drivers whose cars are not going well are saying the regs are crap, and the ones at the front are saying how great they are. Honest governor, I'd be saying the same thing even if I was winning...

Did it just lose connection momentarily at the end of the straight? :?

Anyway: this is quite interesting
