I recently started playing badminton again, and you now have to get Badminton shoes. So I now own some incredibly shiny white and lime Babolat, or Bobolat or something like that. I have not driven in them, as yet.

I don't even believe it's a social experiment, other than for accidentally proving that people with huge amounts of money will spend huge amounts of money, just to prove they have huge amounts of money, because their entire personality revolves around demonstrating how much better they are than you, because they have huge amounts of money.

There are lots of studies that back up the concept that being very, very, very wealthy - the sort of wealthy that makes you think it's a good idea to spend £500 on a string bag to hold a netball - actually breaks the mind.
