Just add lightness!
Just add lightness!
I did it in the opposite direction. With the standard seats. Arse was raw by the end! At least it was summer when i did it though so had the roof off most of the way.Matty wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 5:50 pm Also, 400 miles is a great time to learn a new car (and test it's reliabilty) - but that's a tiring journey in an S1!
Which Nitron's are on it?
The seats are genuinely pretty comfortable - only my lower back hurt a little after the first 100 miles, but bizarrely not at all after the whole 400.scotta wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 7:57 pmI did it in the opposite direction. Nitron Street Series on it. I have settings i can share for these.
After that initial drive I added more padding to the seat base. Made them much better. Those seats you have look much more padded than the standard seats.Rich B wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 8:17 pmThe seats are genuinely pretty comfortable - only my lower back hurt a little after the first 100 miles, but bizarrely not at all after the whole 400.scotta wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 7:57 pmI did it in the opposite direction. i have a little list of stuff i want to do now, and im quite looking forward to fiddling!
its on my little list!speedingfine wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 1:52 pmE-start video? Are the coloured squares on the windscreen from track days? i need to remove them but was curious.
Thats brilliant - i need a new Stack surround and a few other bits!duncs500 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 1:59 pm It's quite a satisfying car to do bits on I think, although some places are awkward to get to.
Have a look at Divine Handcraft (https://divinehandcraft.co.uk/)
for refreshing all the stickers that deteriorate over time.

His stuff is top quality. I replaced the sticker on the gear knob, The Elise sticker on the rear clam (After an unfortunate pressure washer incident we don't speak of) and a new set of the side stone chip guards.duncs500 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 1:59 pm It's quite a satisfying car to do bits on I think, although some places are awkward to get to.
