This is the interior of the M3 Touring I just took delivery of. Medium Jobbo I'd say, non?

Send it back.. they put the steering wheel on the wrong side! 😉

I'm not keen on the lower dash being blue and the centre of the seats not being blue, but I'd still like an M3 touring - so you're winning!

The lower dash being the colour of the seats is great. If it was black it would just look like the seats had been taken from a different car. It ties the interior colour scheme together.

It looks awkward in the pic, does it line up with the door cards?

It does. Interesting detail I wasn't aware of: the blue contrast stitching in the black leather of the upper dash and the upper door panels. This is the individual full merino leather option.

That's a nice touch. The interior does feel like a step-up from other BMWs I've been in.

Works on that Ferrari. If it was a BMW trim colour it would be a slightly sickly shade which I couldn't live with.

I think we've said the same about the Porsche "chocolate" colour which is also a bit more subtle.

End result on that Ferrari is that somehow it makes it quite toned down/old man in terms of styling.

You couldn't listen to acid skiffle in there (well, you might get away with it, unnoticed).

I quite like that, though there is an awful lot of black bits to break it up. Could be a bit unremitting with different seats.

I do like that as a styling choice - works well with the black. But I suspect living with it might be a different matter. Shades required all year round 8-)

Yeah, I’d imagine it would be a mare to look after.

I’ve always been a fan of bright interiors with sober exteriors though, (except red, it’s a bit played out)

Love that interior. Not sure why but photos like that which are screenshots always make me think scam. And the 'engine must be replaced'? Probably a minor issue for you, SJ
