Send it back.. they put the steering wheel on the wrong side!Wilspeed wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2024 7:36 pmThat is really quite lovely, indeed!Jobbo wrote: Mon Jun 17, 2024 3:24 pm I have finally found some real world photos of the Cayenne interior we've ordered. Quite pleased how Jobbo it is:
This is the interior of the M3 Touring I just took delivery of. Medium Jobbo I'd say, non?

Re: Jobbo interior
I'm not keen on the lower dash being blue and the centre of the seats not being blue, but I'd still like an M3 touring - so you're winning!
Re: Jobbo interior
The lower dash being the colour of the seats is great. If it was black it would just look like the seats had been taken from a different car. It ties the interior colour scheme together.

It looks awkward in the pic, does it line up with the door cards?Jobbo wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 6:25 pm The lower dash being the colour of the seats is great. If it was black it would just look like the seats had been taken from a different car. It ties the interior colour scheme together.
Re: Jobbo interior
It does. Interesting detail I wasn't aware of: the blue contrast stitching in the black leather of the upper dash and the upper door panels. This is the individual full merino leather option.nuttinnew wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 8:21 pmIt looks awkward in the pic, does it line up with the door cards?Jobbo wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 6:25 pm The lower dash being the colour of the seats is great. Re: Jobbo interior
That's a nice touch. The interior does feel like a step-up from other BMWs I've been in.Wilspeed wrote: Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:54 amIt does. Re: Jobbo interior
Works on that Ferrari. If it was a BMW trim colour it would be a slightly sickly shade which I couldn't live with.

Re: Jobbo interior
I think we've said the same about the Porsche "chocolate" colour which is also a bit more subtle.Jobbo wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2024 12:47 pm Works on that Ferrari. If it was a BMW trim colour it would be a slightly sickly shade which I couldn't live with.
End result on that Ferrari is that somehow it makes it quite toned down/old man in terms of styling.

You couldn't listen to acid skiffle in there (well, you might get away with it, unnoticed).
Re: Jobbo interior
Might be a bit loud for Jobbo approval but I dig it.

Re: Jobbo interior
I quite like that, though there is an awful lot of black bits to break it up. Could be a bit unremitting with different seats.

Re: Jobbo interior
I do like that as a styling choice - works well with the black. But I suspect living with it might be a different matter. Shades required all year roundZedLeg wrote: Sat Jun 29, 2024 10:51 am Might be a bit loud for Jobbo approval but I dig it.

Yeah, I’d imagine it would be a mare to look after.
I’ve always been a fan of bright interiors with sober exteriors though, (except red, it’s a bit played out)

Re: Jobbo interior
Love that interior. Not sure why but photos like that which are screenshots always make me think scam. And the 'engine must be replaced'? Probably a minor issue for you, SJSundayjumper wrote: Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:09 am https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 7141771335
