I did put at least a minutes worth of effort into it, so I'm glad you value it. Maybe print it out and hang it somewhere in your home, so you can read it more easily in future?Marv wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 4:21 pmAmazing review, would read again!!DeskJockey wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 3:37 pm Lego Movie
Probably good, don't know. Kids watched it, I slept through the whole thing.
I did that once.
Its proper trash, but I’ve quite enjoyed it so far (been watching it on train journeys, 20 mins to go).
Watched this last night based on the recommendation from you two. What a great film. I had literally no idea what to expect from it so I was a bit "wtf" at first but really got into it. Felt a bit Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for grown ups.
I’m a big fan of the slightly “other worldly” style of his films - just on the edge of believeable but massively eccentric (with great soundtracks). the Life Aquatic and Darjeeling Limited have it too (though obviously less extreme).NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:12 amWatched this last night based on the recommendation from you two. I tried this but didnt really get into it and lost interest within 20 mins or so. Maybe i need to revisit it.Rich B wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:19 amI’m a big fan of the slightly “other worldly” style of his films - just on the edge of believeable but massively eccentric (with great soundtracks). the Life Aquatic and Darjeeling Limited have it too (though obviously less extreme).NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:12 amWatched this last night based on the recommendation from you two. i didn’t get on with this one (and I haven’t got round to watching isle of dogs yet) - I think I prefer the “real” stuff. I do need to see them both again though.
