Lego Movie

Probably good, don't know. Kids watched it, I slept through the whole thing.

Amazing review, would read again!!

I did put at least a minutes worth of effort into it, so I'm glad you value it. Maybe print it out and hang it somewhere in your home, so you can read it more easily in future?

My experience of the Lego Movie was much the same, it was quite entertaining at first, but turned very long and boring and I fell asleep.

9.5 somethings out of 10 thingies.

Much laughter. Enjoyedification.

Another beautiful Wes Anderson film. He’s still my favourite director/film maker.

Watched this last night based on the recommendation from you two. What a great film. I had literally no idea what to expect from it so I was a bit "wtf" at first but really got into it. Felt a bit Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for grown ups.

I’m a big fan of the slightly “other worldly” style of his films - just on the edge of believeable but massively eccentric (with great soundtracks). the Life Aquatic and Darjeeling Limited have it too (though obviously less extreme).

Turns out, this is the first Wes Anderson movie I've seen. I'll definitely be seeking out more.

I'm not a big fan of a lot of his stuff, I found them too self consciously quirky but The Life Aquatic, Grand Budapest Hotel and Moonrise Kingdom are all great.

I tried this but didnt really get into it and lost interest within 20 mins or so. Maybe i need to revisit it.

i didn’t get on with this one (and I haven’t got round to watching isle of dogs yet) - I think I prefer the “real” stuff. I do need to see them both again though.
