Bear in mind they're very much an amateur spanner monkey with out serious sponsorship or a four bay garage with lifts, and they can't weld
He is moving into a section of a unit shared with a friend who does proper restorations though. The video is a little misleading to start with, it’s only actually been 9 years since it last ran.

I really do think it’s about time he was brave and bought a welder though, would help with a lot of his mechanical tinkering over the years as well as the obvious fixing rust holes thing. Surprised Rtech haven’t offered him one as he’s got a decent following and seem them supply other YouTubers.

The car looks pretty solid all told tbh, just needs a scrub and soak in wd40.

It has been off the road since 1979 as it was apparently used on private land, but yeah, it was driven to where it was about nine years ago and that's reflected by how well the engine turns over.

And yes, Whiteland restorations IIRC, who seems to find Hubnuts shenanigans entertaining to witness, and I'm sure he's getting an income for the space too that would otherwise be sitting empty otherwise so it seems like a pretty decent solution - especially as Hubnut is planning, longer term, to move to Spain and needs proper storage of projects etc. But it does appear to just be storage, just better sealed than his current barn.

But yeah, by his standards, it's brave and probably a bit rougher than most things he's owned - inner sills look good though, engine looks solid, and it's definitely more interesting than some of the cars that have passed through his hands lately, which have been fine, but I think he likes to have something with a ropey carb hanging around.

Did you see the part where he got the car on the trailer?

China GT. don’t know where Marshalls are, driver stops and pulls competitor from a burning car

I’m still alive tonight, solely thanks to one man, Loek Hartog, who stopped immediately – even though there were no track marshals or firefighters in sight – and risked his own life to pull me out of the car.”
“I can’t remember anything that happened between the 30 seconds before the crash and the hour afterwards, but I’ll remember his incredible act of bravery for the rest of my life.
“Tonight I’m lying here with five broken ribs, a fractured collarbone, a broken hand and finger, and a bruised lung, but it could have been much worse. Thank you, Loek. I owe you my life for your selfless act today.”

Those marshals should never be near a live racetrack again.

Another big one. Laguna Seca this time.
Could you really live with a single temp for your and your passenger in 2026?

Chrrrrrist that's nasty. According to the description and comments he is alive (and was conscious in hospital) but it beggars belief you can survive that at all, never mind be conscious afterwards.

Customer (heavily) modified UltimaRS effectively on shakedown tests following some very track-focussed upgrades.

Clearly rabid, but the comments section suggests that many have missed the above - hence their perception of the brand is (or remains) preeeety loooow.

Those bits of car flying high into the air around the 10 second mark are pretty harrowing.

Yeah - I had to watch back as it initially reminded me of the horrific Gilles Villeneuve crash video, but those are indeed bits of car. :? Assuming brake failure to arrive at the corkscrew with that pace

Video series following the refurbishment of an abandoned Saab dealership. Quite interesting. Would love to do the same.

Warning - Misha content.

Why TF would you rock up at the Ring with this combination of mis-matched tyres fitted?

And why TF would Misha drive it once he is aware of this?

Stoopids all round.

Another similar near-crash blamed on coolant overflowing.

He's a fucking liability. Will he give up before he harms someone else or himself?

If you can't monetise risking everyone else around you, are you really doing high level social meejia?

The funniest part is everyone in the comments slagging off the car owner, and not daring to slag off the guy who chose to get in the car knowing what a state it was in, and drive the doorhandles off it.

Fucking pathetic.

It’s strange that he has some self awareness of his risky driving because he’s too worried to give passengers a ride now but then again not aware enough to rein it in a bit.
How about not having a sig at all?

I haven’t watched his videos for ages because they turned from interesting Nurburgring information and vlogging to 20mins of boring chat about nothing. But I was curious.

Seems mental piling down the hill at a ton plus straight out of the blocks in a completely unfamiliar car, maybe it’s because I’m a crap driver and haven’t driven than many cars, but I’d like a couple of corners under my belt to get a feel for the brakes and steering before leaning on it.

Anyway, the slide is weird, so wasn’t paying attention to the braking on the rest of the vid, but that corner he’s braking all the way into and around the corner. when he loses it he jumps feet over. I don’t know, it just doesn’t look like the sudden snap from a load of slippery coolant. Surely the track guy who stopped him at the end would have mentioned it too? Someone else had obviously seen the incident to radio it in. I’m sure they’re pretty hot on pulling people up for spilling fluids on track.

Every single shot where the soundtrack sounds like the car should be accelerating hard, is accompanying a shot of the car pootling along at 30mph.

I didn't think it was possible to miss the point every time, but somehow, they did it.
