What did Lotus call the silver paint? Was that New Aluminium?

Classic Elise colour anyway, excellent choice.

Goes really well with the red. Buy it this weekend and let’s get this wrapped up.

Something like that yes, I’m not an expert on the names of the colours, I only ever wanted a storm titanium one and ignored all the rest. Ended up having every colour but the one I wanted 🤣

That externally looks excellent and with Dan’s approval, probably the best/safest £20k spend possible!.. 👍👍

Agreed. 18 pages long, it's becoming a novel

I don't like the red seats but you'll be swapping them out for some nice Tillets or otherwise, so that moot.

Get it bought.

Seconded.

Not a fan of the interior colour myself, but that's not complicated to change. Welcome to have my black seats for a small fee... but TBH they're probably in similar condition and so you might as well replace or retrim those ones.

The seats are actually quite nice, they’ve not had many miles on them since they were retrimmed by the look of it and they’re the super comfy s2 seats rather than the horrifically uncomfortable standard s1 seats that feel like you’re sitting in a bucket.

Looks great tbh, pretty much exactly what I’d be looking for if I was buying one.

Do you know what cams / head work it’s had?

Sounds good - doing some reading up on them.

WRT the interior, i don’t hate it, but i’d still prefer non-leather. hmmm … Black seats with red carpets… very Peugeot 205 gti (like the dashboard buttons!)

I bet you're not feeling great at the moment? Got a touch of the flu coming on? Sounds like a sick day, but need a drive out to go get some meds. Apparently they have a great pharmacy over in Bromsgrove, so I've heard.

The S2 seats are a good upgrade.

Ah that's good, thought they were S1, which I understand can be improved with a re-bolstering, but I certainly never got on well with mine.
