You know the engine is in the back, right?

Original Elan is in my top 5 of Classics that are still just in reaching distance, but I probably never will end up buying one

I’m sure it’s a good one but he’s having a laugh at £28.5k

But of course you might find an open Exige V6 tempting: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 5059393120
Like.

Re the 190 S2 Exige, is it that hard to supercharge them? Could be some interesting aftermarket options.
It’s expensive and not worth it. Just buy a supercharged one.

andy, tell me more about yours - do you still have an NA one? what’s your thoughts on the power delivery/keeping it in the power?

I’ve got a lovely s1 in for a c service and mot at the moment that’s going up for sale as soon as I’m done. It’s on throttle bodies and makes 160hp, nitrons, rota wheels, super tidy inside, it’s a genuinely lovely car that I’d probably buy as a daily if I had any spare money.

I’ve known the owner a long time and I think he’ll be after sensible money for it - like well under 20k.

No catch, his other car is a rotrex k20 exige and this one doesn’t get used, he’s been meaning to sell it for over a year…
