No
I think you mean 90% of this country hoped this day would come, whatever their political leanings. There was no need to leave it until Christmas Eve and it’s still not certain.Broccers wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 10:59 amNot at all. There was a glimpse of hope from the left remain this day would not come to fruition.
I hope they use their brains to support their country from now on.
Then please explain how you see the right has supported the country over the last five years and especially since the pandemic started.

I'm actually shocked someone of my age has a decent education and has been tainted with the left. It's well documented that all kids are brought up to support labour these days but it's amazing that Kier is a conservative.

Here's a few things to ponder to help you formulate an answer:
In the light of government policies applied and compared to the time before the referendum, what
- is better for the country?
- has been gained? Be specific and detailed
- cost/benefit analysis (or other valid method) have you applied to arrive at your conclusion?
I think you're right! Who would have thought that he didn't have any answers? Colour me surprised.Delphi wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:22 pmI think he's ignoring the uncomfortable/difficult questions, Alex!DeskJockey wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 11:23 amThen please explain how you see the right has supported the country over the last five years and especially since the pandemic started.

You’re celebrating a trade deal with the EU, yes? Forgive me for misinterpreting your posts over the last 4 years but I thought you were opposed to this outcome. Given that we left the EU nearly a year ago, I’m pleased with the deal too. Are you trying to create an argument out of nothing?Broccers wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 12:26 pmI'm actually shocked someone of my age has a decent education and has been tainted with the left.
