Only acceptable on the black ones imo.
Correct.
Acceptable on black, yes; but still better in silver.
Also correct.

Isn’t the fart sound just what all double clutch cars do? Seems like anything automatic and vaguely quick nowadays farts. From SUVs to hatchbacks. It’s always the same fart sound too regardless of engine size, just a different volume.
It's what they do if you map the gearbox - to make the change slower. Idiots
Hmm. Do not like. No point having all that power if you can't use it!

They have really improved the look of the DB11 generation with the DBS Superleggera. I love that. Externally at least; the interior is boring, the square wheel still looks ridiculous and the fact that the power is unusable (at 2.5C on winter tyres, of course it would be) is silly but more importantly that it is a British car weighing over 1.9 tonnes (more than my Volvo estate) yet is called a 'superlight' in Italian really, really annoys me.

So is the DBS now the best DB11 and not the AMR?
I really hate the pop up nav, it looked ok in 2004 but all high end cars have gone back to integrated systems so it looks particularly naff in 2018. Something about the whole centre console and air vents looks odd too.

That's such a disappointing review, I don't think I'd seen a review of the new DBS before but it appealed to me a lot on paper and in pictures. What he says about the interior is very true, it's a mess and already looks dated.
Gold wheels on a red Countach is a sick combo.

I know what you mean re incongruity, but that's looking at things a little too literally re the etymology of the word I think. The term "Superleggera" itself seems to have been actually a type of construction (to save weight of course) but then trademarked and then licenced to AM for the DB4 and DB5 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superleggera). As such, they've historically got as good a claim to that terminology as any italian car brand given the connection goes back 60 years and I think probably fair enough for them to use it on their ne plus ultra models, objectively lightweight or not (and despite not technically using the form of construction that was trademarked under that term!).

Looks like we're back on the filler content until spring.
Didn't mind the Aston video, driving a 700 bhp car in the cold on winter tyres and complaining about not being able to get the power down seemed a bit silly though.

That doesn't look too bad but nothing like a Lamborghini should.
I'd rather have an LM002.

I was going to say Harry’s one looks even more horrific than the hoards of other Uruii I have seen in London - then I noticed it’s gecause the entire grill is also blue rather than black.
