A Russian registered i3. I wonder how long that journey took
Did it have a range extender?
Spotted again, different location, plugged in. Hopped out for a pic, and the chap wandered over (seemingly from nowhere ). I explained I was taking a pic because it was Russian registered, that it must have been quite some journey, and asked if it was a rx; "Yes, but still..." sounding like he was remembering parts of the trip he would rather have kept forgotten. He came over from Moscow two years ago but didn't say how much of the two years it took
It has made wonder if - because bigger battery in a rhd is a no-go - you can fit a larger fuel tank.

Itâs quite effective, actually - everything inside man-made so not luxurious but comfy enough, functional but unobtrusive lane-keep assist, immediate wireless CarPlay; basically the ideal hire car.
Not as much fun as the brand Wrangler we had today mind you.

New shape Grand Cherokee. Not sure what the projecting metal bars in the front bumper are for, but they look massively dangerous. Interesting looking but has made me much more keen on getting a previous shape Grand Cherokee to replace the Jimny.

They donât look standard to me, they look like attachment points for a set of bull bars

Maybe they're to attach an a frame towing set up to, so the hire company can collect it easier with a single driver?

That's a good suggestion.
I was going along the idea of a snow plough. Sounds weird to us in the UK but "relatively" common in the US. Although I was then stumped by why on a hire car.

It could be to tow it behind an RV

A bike carrier rack. I wondered if they might be mounting points for a front one.
