If you have affectionate memories of the first Tap film then you should enjoy this, it’s got some great gags and some absolutely stellar cameos from the biggest names in music. It does help if you are already in on the jokes from the first film, but overall it’s a witty and entertaining follow up, although I’m unsure how funny it would be to non diehard Tap fans.

I’d give it 7 drummers out of 11

Yep, I almost didn’t want to watch it in case of disappointment but I think they did as good as they could have done. When you’re following up one of the best films ever it was always going to be tough.

Play Dirty (Prime)

Desperately wants to be as cool, suave and together as Ocean's 11, but isn't.

Plot is thinner than the orange menace's skin, and what tries for offhand cool and bad*ss mostly comes across as callous and weak.

Premise is decent enough, bettered many times before, but it is just too over the top and hammy. It just about scrapes through by not abandoning the pledges given.

4/10 moody stares.
