Just started watching today. Good lord you would have to be positive to get anywhere with that. Thoroughly enjoying.Gavster wrote: Fri Nov 11, 2022 11:14 am True, he could have gone and bought this Murky for £150k and it would have been a boring "I just bought a lambo" 5 min vid. The fun of Mat's videos are in the unexpected twists in the journey and the skill he has for storytelling, with a really positive energy, he doesn't let anything get him down (on camera, at least).
Sh does fill out those yoga pants rather nicely!
Someone posted a first-gen Focus RS on Twitter last week, with 21 miles on it, looking for 80-95K...Swervin_Mervin wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 12:21 pm Yeah Ford fans are pretty daft when it comes to what value they attach to their cars and are prepared to pay.
That, and he’s a taxi driver so you would assume he knows the area!
It’s not like they’ve been fought in a sudden flash flood like my other half was, they intentionally driven into what is clearly marked as being deep water. I doubt they’ll get paid out.Simon wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 8:28 pm What's the deal with insurance in these cases? I'm sure I've read about payout(s) when cars have got flooded, but I'm wondering what exemptions insurance companies might rely on to get off paying out.
They may have deliberately driven in, but they didn't deliberately flood them, if you see the difference?Zonda_ wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 8:31 pmIt’s not like they’ve been fought in a sudden flash flood like my other half was, they intentionally driven into what is clearly marked as being deep water. No idea who that is, Simon.Jobbo wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 8:34 pm Maybe someone who runs this forum could help with his flood experience…
Yes but if you drive into water that is clearly marked as being 3ft deep there’s a strong chance it’s going to flood! I think am insurance company would put that down as being driver choice.Simon wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 8:36 pmThey may have deliberately driven in, but they didn't deliberately flood them, if you see the difference?Zonda_ wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 8:31 pmIt’s not like they’ve been fought in a sudden flash flood like my other half was, they intentionally driven into what is clearly marked as being deep water. Anyway, they should've called this episode 'Rufford Ford - Boat Edition'.
