Your fleet running reports
Re: Your fleet running reports
You're not gonna need a bigger boat.

Re: Your fleet running reports
By "offspring" do you mean "pay-per-view boat whores"?
Re: Your fleet running reports
I've got a pass for 17th Nov. ok if I join you and the northloop lot? Will give me an excuse to buy that decent brake fluid that's been on my amazon wishlist for a while.ste wrote: Mon Sep 24, 2018 1:37 pm
I now need to work out how to kill the rear ones to get those swapped too. I have a trackday booked for Rockingham next month. And I'd obviously definitely no way whatsoever in a million years at all take a lease car on track.
Left over crest; tightens.

Good to know chaps. That said I suspect this car won't get new boots in my ownership, the last set lasted two years.. Next car though..

Send me links to cars for sale with throttle bodies.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Got to go with your gut eh, it just didn't feel right letting it go and being boatless like a bloody POOR. This sits with me just fine now.
The part that really sits well with me is I got 5k for the CBR600RR - I hate turning possessions into cash as it just feels hollow, so only 1k on top to put into the boat to make it mine, albeit by using a rather odd form of maths.
(I bought my mate out for 6k, not 5k - brainfart earlier trying to convert into GBP

Well it says DP on the side
Re: Your fleet running reports
Don’t need a lake to enjoy a good motorboat session.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Your fleet running reports
We all know what JL means now when he tells us he's running low on fluids following a prolonged motorboat session.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Yep - totally get all that - plus it’s a boat you know, engines you know etc...JLv3.0 wrote: Tue Sep 25, 2018 4:12 pm Got to go with your gut eh, it just didn't feel right letting it go and being boatless like a bloody POOR. This sits with me just fine now.

Re: Your fleet running reports
The trailer has brakes, doesn’t it ?? I can see it doesn’t have normal (European style) overrun brakes.
Re: Your fleet running reports
It has no brakes
After a year or two of being dunked in the sea, it often doesn't have axles - twice now we've had the leaf springs just rust through and one of the lackeys has to go into the sea to retrieve a runaway axle. For reals.

Fuck! I thought, there’s no way he launches it with that trailer! Must use a crane or something....JLv3.0 wrote: Tue Sep 25, 2018 8:54 pm It has no brakesAfter a year or two of being dunked in the sea, it often doesn't have axles - twice now we've had the leaf springs just rust through and one of the lackeys has to go into the sea to retrieve a runaway axle. We used to launch it like that all the time, it was a doddle. Now it's in a marina and they use a tractor but back in the day I used the LC most weekends to chuck it in and drag it out.
Say 4 tonnes of weight on the back and a slippery launch ramp - 4 Low and you'd still need to change up into 2nd after the first few metres
The ole Toyota got a big set of nuts
