That actually might be it. A mate from here has just moved back home to Florida - aka God's Waiting Room - and says the used car market is mindboggling in terms of absolutely cherry, low mileage cars.

He picked himself up a latest-shape 328i for some ludicrously low price that was brand-new, showroom condition.

It’s something I’ve noticed in Canterbury, Kent which has quite an old population. During the weekend all then pensioners come out in their mint condition old French and Japanese cars. They must all be very low miles with full service history too.
How about not having a sig at all?

I guess once you find a few and have a name for selling that sort of stock you get offered more of it, and I expect a lot of it is from old people who have barely driven than and had them sat around for years before they decide to or their relatives decide to get rid without the hassle of trying to sell it themselves.

A local farmer who one of my workmates does odd jobs for recently passed away and left an immaculate sub 30k mile f-reg Orion. I wouldn't give £50 for it but bet it's worth something to someone...
