The few I’ve seen in the flesh always look way wider than in pics. I wonder if that’s part of the tramlining issue, they’re physically an odd size for their weight compared to most things on the road.

Great looking cars. Loads of presence with the few I’ve seen. Correct colour/wheels/interior too 😎

ETA just looked on AT and there’s some odd spec decisions out there..

One thing I also need to mention - I'm really stuggling to get a good driving position. The seat's look great but they've a bit too much padding so you're not 'in' them enough to benefit from the bolsters. Also, the top of the binnacle is cut off despite the wheel being in its highest position and there's not enough adjustment to get the right reach for pedals and wheel...this car wasn't designed for oddly-proporotioned 6ft British people.
DeskJockey wrote: Sat Jun 19, 2021 10:10 pm That's quite something! What's the sound like?
Erm...it's no Evora witha 2bular. I've not really heard it from outside but I've been told is bordering on anti-socially loud, so I'm sure my neghbours will be over the moon. TBH I don't "do" loud exhausts these days so I'll probably look and getting it muffled somehow.
Inside you get massive whooshy turbo noises and a 'BRRRT' evey time you change up (which I do quite like).
revsRus wrote: Sun Jun 20, 2021 12:01 am Love the adventurous choice! How does the carbon tub feel compared to the lotus tub? Any distinction? And what tweaks are made with the geometry pack do you know? If I remember right tram-lining was mentioned a lot in reviews at the time, has this been banished?
Goemetry I thought was just a geo, but they put wheel spacers on the front along with a geometry adjustment. Bear in mind mine's also a late model which was reportedly "fixed" from the early 2014/15 cars - that being said it does tug on the wheel now and again, but it's nothing major.

How does it feel? I'm not that talented or nuanced enough in driving dynamics to answer that question  I looks nice though!

Would have loved a LC500 - if I'd have been able to afford one it would have been my choice TBH, but alas they've not dropped below £50k so it's out of my budget.

For reference, the AT prices of 4C's aren't far off; let me be clear I don't have that kind of wedge, my 4C was waaaaay cheaper than those. It's got 60k on the clock, but even so I still feel what I paid was cheap. There are some really, really minor cosmetic issues (bit of PPF lift, few chips) but otherwise, I've either got a timebomb or something of a bargain. Would be interested to see what I'd get for it in p/x TBH.

8-) Perfect colour/wheel/interior combo 8-)
Unlike in your pics, the couple I've seen (one was a roadster :o ) looked wiiide, no doubt exaggerated by how low they are.

I'm in the tiny minority that doesn't like them but I really hope you enjoy it. Right colour and right interior. Spec sounds ideal too. 👍

I have only seen a few 4Cs on the road, but happened to spot one at the top of the M5 going onto the M6 this morning. He got off at J10 of the M6; so there's one pretty local, Matt. But it was grey with gunmetal alloys and that colour scheme really doesn't work in the same way as the Alfa Red.

Noisy at low speed when we were in the slow moving queue. Nice, but I wouldn't choose one over my Merc for the commute

That is a genuinely lovely thing. We saw one not so long ago now (I can't recall where) and the wife was asking what it was. It was in red as per yours. I have to say that, even though I wasn't a fan when they wre released, I've seen a few in the wild now and they are stunning things.

Feral cats in a sack. This is clearly 7 feral cats in a sack wild.

As per the IG response from your prick tease, fucking great choice!

Has to be said the 4C kind of passed me by back in the day (due to contemporary reviews not really being entirely, completely glowing) but these days, in Gwarreds Real World a carbon tubbed, mid engine, rare, italian exotic with a bit of character is really very appealing.

And I'm in agreement on the spec, that looks bloody lovely.

Any longer term plans? Tweekery? Bit of cheeky remapping to suit a custom, less blaring exhaust perhaps?

Wow, that's a stunning thing. I've only seen one IRL I think. At an autosolo, surprisingly.

Many congratulations.

Keen to see the 60-100.

Performance wise it must be extremely similar to @scotta ’s new Elise CR.

These later ones look so much better than the early ones with the ugly headlamps.

I can't believe they ever released it looking like that tbh.

Almost identical. I think the Alfa sneaks a top speed advantage by around 10 mph but the 0-60 is 4.2 vs 4.5 nothing you would notice on road.
